Terms of Service

PRMergeSafe is an AI-powered code review tool for GitHub pull requests. We read the diff and the current contents of changed files, run them through an AI analysis pipeline, and post a comment with a risk assessment on the PR.

The analysis is advisory. You remain responsible for the code you merge. PRMergeSafe is not a replacement for human code review, automated tests, or your own engineering judgment.

To use the Service you must install the PRMergeSafe GitHub App on at least one repository and authenticate via GitHub OAuth. You are responsible for keeping your GitHub account secure. You may revoke access at any time by uninstalling the GitHub App.

We offer a free tier (15 PR credits / month) and paid tiers with higher limits. Credit usage is per PR analyzed; large PRs may consume multiple credits, and PRs touching protected paths cost 5× credits. Plans renew monthly on a rolling 30-day cycle from your first use.

Paid plans are billed in advance via Stripe. Overage charges (on Starter, Team, and Scale plans) are billed at the end of each cycle at the published overage rate for each plan. Refunds are handled on a case-by-case basis — contact us if you have an issue.

You agree not to:

• Use the Service for any illegal purpose
• Attempt to reverse-engineer or circumvent plan limits
• Use the Service to analyze code you do not own or have permission to analyze
• Abuse the API or send malicious payloads

You retain ownership of your code. We claim no rights to your repositories or their contents. PRMergeSafe's analysis output (findings, scores, comments) is provided for your use under these Terms.

We aim for high availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted service. PRMergeSafe may be unavailable for maintenance, third-party outages (GitHub, Anthropic, etc.), or other reasons outside our control. Our total liability for any service issue is limited to the fees you paid in the 30 days preceding the incident.

You can terminate at any time by uninstalling the GitHub App. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms, abuse the Service, or have unpaid invoices. On termination, we retain your data for 30 days for recovery, then delete it.

The Service is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee that the analysis will catch every issue, that our findings are always accurate, or that the Service is fit for any particular purpose. You should not rely solely on PRMergeSafe to decide whether code is safe to merge.

We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be communicated via email or a dashboard notice. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.
